Sac Classic One Loft Race

About

ABOUT:

This race is flown each year from Winnemucca Nevada to Sacramento, approximately 250 miles.  It was one of the earliest one loft races established in the US today.

The birds are young, just a little older than six months many of them.  Send your toughest fast maturing youngsters to this race.  They will encounter one of the most challenging race courses in the US.   A true test of your birds ability.  Birds start the flight out at about 5,000 feet above sea level and ascend to over 9,000 feet as they fly over the Sierra Mountains.  Then they drop down into the Sacramento Valley to less than 1000 feet above sea level.

As one of the lowest priced one loft races in the nation, this is a great opportunity to see how your young birds will do in these conditions against other lofts.  Many breeders will find it useful this year to check our training sheets periodically to see how there birds are doing.
